6 months old

Took Kade's 6 month pictures the other day at Jill's house.  I didn't use any of my cool new props just didn't think about it but I like how these turend out.

It is fall time here and the weather has been amazing.  It has been so warm and just beautiful.  We have gone to the park a lot and just spend time outside.  I love love love this weather so I took some pictures of the fall leaves

Photo shoot with the little man

Had a photoshoot with the little man 2 days ago for his 5 month pictures.  It was so much fun because I went with friend and her two kids. I also got to use the coca cola wagon my mom bought me when she was here.  Then last weekend I was able to find a cool tray of old glass coke bottles.  Seeing how we live in the south and there are cotton fields all over the place we decided to take pictures out there.  I think they turned out pretty good except Kade wouldn't look at the camera. I also played around when I was editing them because I downloaded some new actions. Please tell me which one you like the best and I'm sure I'll post more as I get them edited because I am having so much fun with them.  Happy 5 months little man

My baby is 4 months and a deer



To start things off Jesse shot his first buck Saturday.  He was very excited so I now have to learn how to cook with deer meat.  Anyone have any good recipes please feel free to share



This little turkey is 4 months well I know you all know that but there are some pictures I took out in the yard the other day. He loves to play with his feet.

Melanie I know you don't like the naked pictures but he is just too cute and well he does have a diaper on.

I think this one is the cutest. Oh and he is laying on a jean blanket that I'm trying to finish its only taken me oh I don't know 6 months now maybe more.  I did buy batting a couple of days ago so it should be finished soon. If only Jill were here to help..sigh

4 months

Yesterday this little man turned 4 months.  Its crazy to think that he is already 4 months old.  He is now wearing his 6 month clothes and can fit in a few of his 3-6 months but those are getting snug.  He goes in for his 4 month baby well check up on Friday so I'll get the stats on that later.  I think he is starting to teeth do to the amount of drool and how he puts everything into his mouth.  He giggles when we tickle him and is pretty happy most the time unless its time to go to bed.  Recently he has started staying up until 11 or 12 but then sleeps through the night.  I'm working on getting him to bed earlier but he just isn't tired.

Yes and he is due for a haircut and well lets be honest he can just wait a little longer, maybe I'll have my mom cut it when she gets here...hehe

Kade, Kade and more Kade

We have now figured out how to lift the tray up with our legs.  He can get it up pretty high.  I guess we are starting early with the leg press.  Do you see his thunder thighs...I love them

For Jesse's birthday we had a rootbeer tasting contest with 7 kinds of rootbeer. I'm always amazed at how each one tastes so different.  Hank's was the best and Virgil's was the least liked.  After trying Virgil's alone without the others it wasn't so bad.  I thought the bottles were fun so I took some pictures of them.  The plastic bottles were not as exciting so they did not make it into the picture.

I do NOT like that they just changed the format of how to use this.  I uploaded pictures twice and a lot more than just these 3 but these are the only ones to appear....I want to scream I don't have all day for this crap. Anyways on a happy not here is my cute son.  In the first picture Rex (6 months) Kade (3 months).  Today Kade pushed his ring up on his face and then just left it there.  Silly boy.  I of course had to take a picture of him instead of moving it right away

Peaches

Peaches are in season and they taste sooo good. After eating an entire basket of peaches we decided to do some canning.
So while this little guy was a happy camper
And being sooo cute
And then taking a nice long napWe took these beauties and kept ourselves busy all afternoon

We canned 31 one jars of peaches. They are beautiful I want to display them in my house somewhere but I'm not sure where to put them
Canned peaches are so pretty. One basket of peaches canned 18 jars. I was pretty happy with that many jars. Now we have super yummy peaches to eat all year long. yum yum yum
Here are some of our eggs that we have been getting. So far only one chicken is laying hopefully the other two will be laying soon too.

My Future Baseball Player
