Day 2- Yellowstone

We went to see Old Faithful and well it started out great and quickly turned not so great.  As we started walking the trail to see the pools we decided it would be really nice to have a stroller so Jen and I went back to get the stroller and the guys stayed back with the kids.  We didn't find them until an hour or so later.  The guys weren't so happy they had a bunch of cranky kids.  Jen and I on the other hand did a crazy power walk around all the pools with an empty double stroller.  We got some strange looks thats for sure.  Next time we will make a better plan and maybe plan to have our phones with us. Sorry Cliff and Jesse

Old Faithful

I love the textures you can find at Yellowstone

This is our campsite.  We didn't spend much time there since we hung out at Cliff and Jen's site since they had the trailer.  Thier spot was right across the little road from us.  We really liked our spots but our campground was kind of far from everything.

After lots of driving and a crazy day we took the kids down to the lake.  Looks like Kade was about to nail Tyler with that stick, and Julia really wanted to get in the water and was trying to keep her shoes dry.

More rock and stick throwing

Cliff threw a dead tree in the water and the kids got so excited

Kade loves to splash

One happy dirty little camper.

We could have spent the entire day at the lake throwing rocks

I played with the coloring on these a little because the lighting was kind of weird but man I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture. Pure happiness

Cliff trying to get out on the tree.  Not sure exactly but I was waiting for him to fall in, he didn't

The kids thought it was so cool, watch out Cliff those brances aren't that strong

Climbing around on fallen trees

The sunset was beautiful

Not a very good picture of Yellowstone Lake

Cute Power's family
We should have spent more time at the lake and at our campsite, we were on the go a lot but it was a lot of fun.  Next National Park  Glacier!  Well thats our plan anyways.  Power's you up for it?
