My Birthday

For my birthday this year Jesse  and I went on a date and it was so nice and relaxing.  While he was gone I told him I wanted to go on a date, get a bubble drink and get a cupcake and walk around downtown Tacoma.  Jesse bought me a new camera its a little Panosonic point and shoot but its perfect.  I wanted one that I can carry around all the time.  Sometimes its just not logical to bring my huge camera around.

What is wrong with my eye?  We went to a Pho restaurant.  My first time and it was really good.

So much food I didn't eat it all thats for sure.  And I got my bubble drink.  They are so good Jesse got peach and I got coconut.  I love the little tapioca balls they are so fun to drink.

I wanted to go through some fun antique stores but they were all closed so we just walked around.  They have these amazing hanging pots all over.

I was so excited to get a cupcake but we got there and it was closed! So sad. I guess I didn't really need it.

My mom got me this necklace from Lisa Leonard.  I really like it because its simple and pretty.  Kade points to it all the time and tells me its a camera.

Love these boys even if they drive me crazy! Oh  maybe i should just go to sleep and turn off the Olympics....umm no I think I'll suffer a few more days.

Yesterday we went up to see Ken and Pam, nothing new we hang out with them everyday.  Kade had gone inside and made himself at home.  I needed to go back home and get some stuff done and Pam told me to just leave him, so I did.  Kade was inside on Ken's chair eating teddy grahams and playing with his cars.  Awhile later I went to check on him and this is what I found. Kade chasing Pam around with a piece of grass. I ran back and got my camera because it was just too cute.  I owe Pam big time because Kade went to bed so easily last night.  I am so grateful for Ken and Pam words can't explain they are the best neighbors.

So I need to post pictures of things that make me smile because it has been a long long weekend.  The other night when I got up to go to bed I noticed that Kade had lined up all his cars from the movie cars in a row.  I didn't notice he had been playing with them.  Somehow lightening mcqueen is missing and a pink car has replaced it. 

He is so cute when he is sleeping and so peaceful.  We had a few busy days and Kade fell asleep in the car so laid him on the couch to finish off his nap.

American Lake

Last week I planned a wife get together with Jesse's work.  Well all but one wife flaked and didn't come.  well 2 told me before but the other two gave me lame excuses, i was annoyed to say the least.  Im not planning any other wife get together thats for sure.  One came with her 4 kids and we had a wonderful time. The weather was amazing it was perfect.  I thought it was going to be super hard taking both boys by myself but it wasn't.  I'm so glad we went and I hope to go again soon next time with Jesse.  Washington summers can be super nice we just don't get enough summer days.

Wildwood Park

For our playdate this week we went to Wildwood Park.  Thanks to my friend Pam I was introduced to the park last year.  I love the little stream that goes through the park its maybe 2 inces deep so perfect for kids to run in,.  Kade loved the bridges.

I do love how green it is.

Im noticing most of the pictures of Seth are in his stroller. I can't hold both the camera and Seth, he is getting so big.
