1st day not working

I keep thinking today is Saturday and that I should really be preparing my lesson for tomorrow and then I realize that its Monday. Its such a great feeling not to have to be stuck at the pool all day. I can't say I miss swim lessons or the pool right now maybe one day. I have been trying to keep busy this weekend and so far I have been successful.

Today while I was out watering the garden (which is growing great). I already have zucchinis coming up...I know Jesse will be so excited. Okay back to while I was water my garden.. the neighbor came up and talked to me (which is odd we normally just say hi) anyways he asked me if we were growing chickens. It made me laugh because I thought to myself no we are raising chickens but then thought about it and yes we are growing chickens they are HUGE. I will have to go out and take pictures so I can post how big they have gotten. For some reason they love to poop in their food and water, not sure why they like to eat and drink their own crap. Anyways here are a few pictures I took today. These girls were too funny. They were supposed to have somewhat matching outfits and when they showed up with their dad they were not in their outfits but thats okay we still got some good pictures.
Here is a skirt I made for my niece Brinly. Now I just have to mail it to her (I'll get it in the mail soon Emily I promise) I have never made a skirt for a little girl so this is my first. I just really liked the fabric and bought it before I knew what we were having so now Brinly gets some cute clothes.
Here is a close up of the lady bug fabric.

So you are done working for good? That is so exciting! Not that I would know how that feels, but still.... I LOVE that skirt. So cute. Makes me wanna have a girl. But then again, not. I would be tempted to buy too many cute clothes.

Super cute skirt!!! And you just reminded me that I need to get a package out to you!! And only 21 days left. So exciting to have sine time off before baby boy arrives. I like not working. My new "job" is way more fun. ;). Someday I'll go back because my old job was fun enough to do again.

The stroller is actually a bIke trailer that doubles as a stroller. Seats two kids. Plus room in back for lots of stuff. We picked it up at Costco. I love it! However, it isn't really meant for cruising in a department store. It is perfect for Yosemite, Disneyland, and Relay for Life. ;) pretty much once they can sit up you can start using it. Has a special
shoulder harness for little ones and folds up relatively flat. You can remove the wheels and handle to make it easier to pack. ;) can't remember the brand name. Kidderoo? Something like that.

Way cute skirt. I keep thinking someday I'll make me a skirt but they are never as cute as little kid stuff.

How fun that you are done working! I wish I knew how that felt. Maternity leave was nice, but I just didn't know what to do with myself. I am so excited for your little baby to come. They are so much fun. 3 more months and little Dixie will be ready for her first swim!
