Taipei Day 3 and 4

Street food breakfast = egg and ham sandwich which wasn't bad except a little strong on the mayo.

The kids loved this camel display

On day 3 we went up to Beitou which is a cute little town and known for its hot springs. I liked this display.

Waiting for the metro

It was a bit harder to go to a hot spring than we anticipated mainly because the kids couldn't wear board shorts. Such a pain when i asked one place they said it was because they made bubbles....seriously??

The kids loved this pond way too much.

We ended up finding a great place for our families to swim. We had this whole room to ourselves and it had 3 pools each a different temperature.

The kids could be as loud as they wanted an played and had a great time.

We learned that lots of things are closed on Monday which was annoying so our time in Beitou was cut short because the museum and national park was closed. We headed back down on the metro and randomly chose a temple to stop at. This one ended up being really pretty.

The one and only picture i got of the 2 of us

After a few hiccups we made it to the Modern Toilet. Tolberts forgot the map and our phone died so we had to keep asking  people where to go. This one lady was super helpful and walked us from the Metro stop to the restaurant. She was heaven sent.

To say the kids liked this restaurant is an understatement

We all shared the big ice cream. It was more like shaved ice

The big happy kids

Talking english to some guy in the metro

day 2 at eating at this place. It was good and close. Their fruit shakes were really good and simple. The kiwi one was amazing

We ate upstairs and it the restaurant had huge windows that looked down on the street.

More metro fun. Dillon was awesome and always got us where we needed to go.

We made it to the Taipei Temple and Eva and I switched off and both had the chance to do inititories

So thankful we made it a point to go.  After the temple we went back grabbed our bags and headed to the airport. It was a fun fast trip but I'm sure glad we went.  The flight home was long and hard both Seth and Jack cried almost the entire time because they wouldn't share the iPad.
