Have you heard of this cookbook? Its great. My friend introduced it to me and so far I love it. The great secret about this cookbook is it uses purees in normal recipes. And right now I am pureeing a lot of food. Oh and I was thinking about buying the book brand new and then I found it in the thrift store for $2.25! A great find! Now I'm off to make mac and cheese with pureed cauliflower. | | | | | | | | | | | |

Good for you! I have the cookbook as well but struggle to use it. Somehow I don't quite agree with the philosophy. Well, and I am too lazy to make all the purees. :-) But thanks for reminding me. There are some goo recipes in there! Hope the Mac and Cheese turned out well!
Well, I don't know about goo recipes. I meant good, of course.
Emily taught me about puree. But you know, it works just as well without puree in most cases. We always grate squash and carrots into our spageti sause. I love adding vegetables to random dishes!
I have this cookbook and really like it. I have actually used the concept on so many other things as well. Sometimes I like what the purees do to the texture of things.
