A busy Saturday

Saturday was a very busy day. It started at 7:30am when I was wide awake. I got up a little annoyed that it was so early but I got up anyways and made muffins, then I cleaned the cupboard under the sink while the muffins were cooking, studied my scriptures, planted seeds for my garden, made a cd for Jill. Then I made this super cute onsie for Rex. I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to make this. It was super easy with some freezer paper and paint.
Last week I started to clean out the pond area, it still has a long way to goWe also went to Lowes and got dirt for our garden. We had picked up these containers a couple weeks ago and now they are filled just waiting to be planted. We got an unfinished dresser a couple of weeks ago and then put a clear finish over it and this is what it looks like. We love it and its nice to have a bigger dresser. Then for our exciting news we got 6 chicks!
Chloe came over today to look at the chicks today. She liked to look at them and pet them but not hold them.

Jesse with one of our chicks
Aren't they so cute. The red ones are friendly than the yellow ones.
Chloe not wanting to hold the chick it was pretty funny. Then to continue on Saturday I sanded and then painted a picture frame I got at the thrift store I'll post pictures of that when its finished, made business cards and started to put baby things away. It was a busy day and thank goodness today is Sunday because I am tired.

So you are going to name your baby boy Rex???????? I hate playing phone tag with you for weeks. Now I am not at all updated and have no clue what is going on. So please let me know! I like the name.

I'm tired just reading your post!!! Glad you had a productive day. If you still have days like that a week after having the baby I'll feel bad about myself. Those containers look awesome! I am checking out all the square foot gardening stuff online so hopefully I'll pull something together that is efficient and actually produces stuff. Cliff and I just bought dirt also. I get to unload it and bags of mulch this next week. I'm a little behind. Oh well. ;)

No Sarah we are not naming our kid Rex. My friend just had a little boy and named him Rex. Maybe I should start saying that because you aren't the first person to think that. OH and Melanie our chicks are just for fun we want the eggs.
