25 Weeks Pregnant

I wasn't going to post a picture of me being pregnant until after I got back from California. Mainly because its driving Hailey crazy she can't wait to "see me fat" as she says. What a nice little sister. Well I changed my mind. I figured 25 weeks is a good time to start taking pictures of myself "fat". I also wore real clothes today instead of just sweats and my guard stuff so I figured that helped too. So here I am 25 weeks. Not the best picture I think I was almost blinking when Jesse took the picture.We had an ultrasound done a few weeks ago and just got around to posting these. Below are his two feet. I must admit this is my favorite picture from the ultrasound. Can you see both of them?
Yep we are having a boy. Jesse is and was very very excited, and of course so am I but I would have been happy either way.
I also love this shot. Its a picture of his hand and it looks like he was reaching for us. Good to know that at least one of his hands has all 5 figures.
Here is a picture of his face. I think its kind of creepy because the eyes are all dark. But its still cool.
Baby Boy was moving so much that we ended up with a lot of picture. I think the ultrasound tech was having fun getting the pictures as well. She had a super hard time getting measurements because he wouldn't stop moving. It was super funny but also very reassuring that we have a healthy active boy. I now have a good reason to be tired =)

Why?

Why do people ask and say stupid things when you are pregnant? Today I got asked "Where did that belly come from?" I just stared at them thinking what the crap am I supposed to say back to that. Oh it drives me crazy. Another person asked me "How did that get there?" Really can you just say congratulations or when are you due. No they have to say stupid stuff and ask stupid questions. Okay thats my rant for tonight. Oh yeah and I have no theme for the babies room yet, we haven't thought of the colors or anything along those lines for that matter. I know I should start thinking about it and planning it but really we haven't done a thing. Its driving people crazy and I'm sorry about that, we just haven't thought about it really. We still have plenty of time =) Oh and I'm more excited right now about getting a week off work and going home for that week and relaxing and having fun.

Photoshop fun

This morning I took a break from quilting. My fingers are a little sore. I decided to play with photoshop a little bit and found this new texture called old photo. I think its fun and I love this picture of Megan so I thought I would play with it a little bit.

Found a new blog

So I have been sewing a little bit and when I say a little bit I have been working on a blanket for over a year now. Its getting closer to being done and must be done in 2 weeks when I go to California so my sister finally gets her graduation/birthday/christmas present. I know I'm pathetic but I just like to do to many other things.

This past week at work I was talking to one of the water aerobic instructors because she quilts and I was asking for her advice. Sponge Bob, Bobby

Its Jill's birthday this week so I made her a cake. Since I work during the week I can't have a party for her on her real birthday so I made her a cake today. It is a special cake alright. Sponge Bob. I have to say I'm pretty proud of the cake it took me awhile to decorate but I had a good time doing it. I took this picture after we cut off his legs.Here is Jill holding her cake. I had to take a picture of me holding the cake. Oh and yes I cut my hair. I didn't do anything with it since I was decorating the cake most the afternoon but I like it short. I couldn't believe how long I let it get.
I'll try to get our ultrasound pictures copied this week so I can post them, and maybe a tummy shot too. Yes I'm getting a belly.

Chloe

I love this kid and I can't wait until her mom has her brother. I love it more when she screams my name on the phone and wants to talk to me. Ahh gotta love 2 year olds. She also really likes Jesse's doctors set that he got for Christmas. She especially loved the glasses.

My Nephew Alec

Isn't this picture cute. He got to sit with Grandma Kathy after his bath. I love how he is so into watching tv. He gets so mesmerized. I wish now I would have taken my camera out more while with those guys but for some reason I didn't. Oh well such is life.

Rest of our trip

Palmyra, New York
We are on top of the Hill Cumorah which was our first stop in Palmyra. We had a nice tour of the visitors center and then we walked up to the top of Hill Cumorah. It was nice cold hike but felt good after we had been in the car for awhile. Its interesting that the hill is not very big and doesn't stick out like you would think. Its just another little hill in the areaThis is a replica of the Smith Log home in Palmyra. Its amazing how small and simple the homes were back then. Us freezing in the Sacred Grove. I was so cold I practically ran through the grove. Its sad that it was so cold because it is one of the most sacred spots. The grove was a lot different than what I was expecting. Maybe because I always see pictures of it when its green.
When we drove through Palmyra we saw this building and it made us laugh. We are wondering what happened to the rest of it because it looks so awkward all by its self on the corner.
On our first day in Connecticut it snowed and we went in the backyard and had a snowball fight. It was a lot of fun especially because we got to go into a nice warm house when we were done. Andy and Davin. Davin has some new snow gear to get ready for Sweeden

We went to NY city and FROZE! I took 3 pictures there and this is one of them I took in Central Park. We are not big fans of the city but it was cool to have gone.
Thank you George Family for letting us come crash at your house. We had a great time and we are so grateful for your hospitality. Pearson Family it was also great to see you guys. Thanks for flying out to have a cold snowy couple of days. It was great to be with Family. Can't wait to see you next month!
