Our first Space A flight and 3 days in Hawaii!!

Another try to catch the Space A flight to the states and we made it. All 3 boys matching in their China shirts and they look so cute.

It made it really easy to have them matching I could always find them

We got to ride on a C-17. It was a great flight. The seats aren't super comfortable but the leg room and space is amazing.

A friend told me to get pool mattresses and have the boys sleep on them. It worked great. And well Jack got to hang out in his seat and he fought sleep.

One lesson we learned was not to sit towards the back of the plane. It gets really cold back there.  We did not have enough blankets and the few they had on the flights only helped a little. I'm thankful the boys even slept a little.

Our first layover was in Hawaii and it was awesome. Our friends from Washington the Penberthy's now live there so we got to stay there and hang out. They came and picked us up at the terminal and we headed back to their house for some breakfast.

We then hit the road and went to a beach called Bellows. It was AMAZING

The first thing the boys said was the sand is so soft!

We also met up with my friend Devanie and her two kids

It was beautiful

I am so glad we could spend time at the beach

Devanie and I

Anna and I

We had some tired kid after the beach

Our flight was supposed to leave the next morning but the plane was broken so we got to sat a few extra days. It was a blast.

We headed up to North Shore and got shaved ice at Motsumoto.

Then we drove over to Waimea Beach and tried to swim but they wouldn't let us in the water because the waves were to strong.

We continued up the coast and at dinner at McDonalds and then went across the street to the beach and played at the Laie Beach. Oh man it was incredible.

Love this picture of Anna and her 3 kids

The boys had such a great time playing in the beach. They were running around jumping in the waves. So fun to watch them play.

Jack loves the beach and waves

I love this face

Jack has become so independent.

I made this fun dress for Nora. I was told she loves it.

Since we had another day and no plans we went to a botanical garden. this was one of the biggest trees. They are so wide its amazing.
The kids look so small next to this big tree.

We also headed down to Waikiki to visit my cousin Garrett at PF Changs. It was so much fun to see him.

Well the time came for us to get back on our flight and head to California. We got back on the same flight. This time there were a few more patients. This flight was used as a Medvac flight to transfer patients from Okinawa and Hawaii to mainland.

This was the view from our seats. Not sure what was wrong with this guy

another view from our seat

the boys had fun playing mind craft and other kids from the flight came to join the boys.

We had the best flight crew ever. They played with the kids, let us in the cock pit and even made fresh cookies

Our friends were so nice and made the boys goodie bags with toys and treats. They are so spoiled.  Flying Space A was so great. Even with the delayed flight I'm so glad we could spend extra time in Hawaii with Anna and her family.
