Bingata Painting and Ta-Taki Falls

Something I saw online was called Bingata painting and with the Packards coming I knew they would be interested in it. So I made us an appointment and we went.
We picked what we wanted to do and all chose totes, then we picked our design and they put the stencil on with some type of glue base. We dried it on with a blow dryer.

Then we got all set up

Grace and Audra

When painting there is a total system to it. there are 12 base colors and then 4 shadow colors. You can only shadow  certain colors with certain bases.

This is what mine looked like when I was done.

Across the beach there was a trail to the beach

It was so hot and beautiful

We then took a little adventure because I got us a little lost, and we finally ended up at Ta-taki falls. we used to call it Tadake falls but us American's got it wrong. We all love this hike and the boys were so excited to go.

We made it and had fun cooling off in the water. All the big kids climbed behind the waterfall

Frances and Jack hanging out

We even played on the rope swing for a long time

Kade had a bit of trouble hanging onto the rope sometimes

Bryant obviously had the best upper body strength

My favorite shot!

Bryant, Grace and Audra at the top of the waterfall

Kade spent most of the time in the water going back down to the car

Frances climbing downy he slippery rocks

Bryant was awesome and carried Jack down for me

Banana trees are so pretty when they bloom.

Jacks outfit made me crack up, the hat turned up, so priceless. Kade is willing to try anything, love the pic of him and the one of Bryant, great shots! where was Harvey and Juliene? no rope for them? if I ever get back we will have to go there ok?
