Kade's Birthday week

I can not believe this boy is 5. So we had a great day planned where we were going to go play at the park and beach. We were not planning on being on a Typhoon watch.
I decided to have the boys have a party together since Seth never got a party. We went to Araha Park since it has a pirate ship. We had a treasure hunt that went all over the pirate ship and ended at the beach finding treasure which we used pennies. The kids loved it and had fun playing at the park.

I tried to make cupcakes and ended up not having cupcake liners but I made them anyways. They totally stuck to the pan. So Jesse went and got a ice cream cake that morning. Great idea until it melted really fast thanks to the humidity.
We were going to play at the beach but it was closed because of the Typhoon warning. Doesn't it look dangerous out there?!
We also tried to bbq hot dogs but were told we couldn't because of the typhoon watch. The best part is the kids totally didn't know anything was wrong. They had a lot of fun. The park was hot but the kids had fun and we are so grateful for all the fun friends we have made in such a short time.
Grandma Paula sent the boys boogie boards to the boys. Jack thought they were pretty cool.
Preston gave the boys a double slip n slide and it's awesome. This is how we spent our time on typhoon lock down. Ephram and Gideon came out to join us in the fun.
The boys had a blast.
The men bbqing. See our preparations for the typhoon...gotta love the the sand bags
We then put the slip n slide on the hill
It was awesome
One night we played with the fatify app. Oh man it was funny. Good thing my boys aren't over weight.

After being cooped up inside for a day the second we knew we could get off we were out of the house. We went and checked out a castle ruin.
It was really pretty and interesting
The view was amazing too
They wanted to take their picture next to this guy in gift shop.
Totally cheesing it for Cathy. Go UVU
We had our family pictures taken at the Gala. It's a beautiful place.
Happy 5th birthday to this funny boy. He is smart, helpful, loves Legos and Star Wars, he also is pretty good at the wifi. He is learning to read by reading the Book of Mormon. He has also become a good swimmer. I love this child of mine he really is a good kid who likes to talk but can play by himself for hours. He is such a good mixture of Jesse and I.
We even say a sign that said happy birthday so we told him it was just for him.
After we took our family pictures we let Kade pick where he wanted to have his birthday dinner. Of course he picked McDonalds.
The boys played in the play structure and the there were these video games. It was hilarious the boys loved it.
We also went up to the aquarium that week too.
This is the view from the aquarium. It's beautiful.
The boys love watching fish.
Sharks and sting rays
The big tank! Whale sharks and manta rays.
This sign totally made me laugh
Kade took this shot at the aquarium
We then got to watch the dolphin show
Then we went swimming at the beach nearby. Kade loves the water and Seth is still a little timid.
It was a good week and fun to have Jesse home for a week.
