California in phone pictures

Erin this picture is for you.

We took a family outing to Alder Lake on Monday evening. It was beautiful even if the water was a little murky

The boys out for a kayak ride

I do exist

We had a picnic dinner, and even found some friends out there playing as well, thats how we got a family picture.

Kade loved jumping off the log into the water. He has become so brave in the water this summer.

We spent this lake day with the Larsen's, it was so much fun.

Some one was tired

Jesse had a little over a week off so we got in the car and headed to California. We left at night and drove all night it took us 17 hours

We surprised Grandma Paula by showing up at her house with a box of donuts. It was awesome the boys just walked into the house and totally surprised her.

I took my scrapbooking stuff to be productive while hanging out at the Pearson's

We took the canoe down to the beach and Jesse and Joel took the kids out for a ride. This was after they flipped in the canoe while trying to get in. The kids loved the canoe ride

Kade learned how to boogie board and loved it. He spent a ton of time in the water.

Jesse and Grandma Paula trying to put the hot wheels track together.

Someone thinks he is so big and grown up now.

Watching the cement mixer at grandma Kathy's and Papa Charlie's. Papa Charlie was making a new garage.

Playing with cousins Brinly and Jane in the sandbox

Baseball practice with Uncle Mark

Learning to hit the right way.

We spent the night at the powers and Julia and Kade were up early so they hung out and watched tv

Jesse and Emily must have had a long day, they were both passed out on the couch.

Walking down Avila Pier after celebrating GG's 81st birthday and eating at the Custom House

More boogie boarding for Kade. He was so brave the sun wasn't even out

Jen and I on the beach with Tyler and Seth while Jesse and Cliff took the other kids out in the canoe

Checking out the tidepools at Avila. There wasn't too much to see

We were walking into Target and the boys were so excited about the UPS truck then the guy let the boys in and they were so excited.

Grandma Paula this is for you.

We went and checked out Montana De Oro and did a little hike. It was a long whinny hike with the boys.

Geoff and Michelle Ower's came to town with the family. We met them at dad's and then went downtown to Farmer's Market. We ended up eating at Woodstalk Pizza and having a great time.

Hailey also joined us

Strawberries are so good and cheap in SLO that I bought a flat and made strawberry jam one night just because I could. Canning is slightly addicting

I loved watching the kids play together. One morning they were very into coloring, it was so cute to see them work together and play.

Tyler turned 5 while we were in town and had a Pirate party so we got to go and Kade got to dress up like a pirate. He makes a pretty cute pirate

Kade and Tyler the birthday boy. Kade gave Tyler a light saber. We think Tyler looks like a Jedi Pirate. Thanks Tyler for inviting us to  your super fun party we had a great time

After the party we hit up in and out. Don't Brinly and Kade look so excited?  After in and out we packed up the car and headed on our 17 hour drive back home.

On the drive back home my feet and legs got really swollen, so I got to elevate my legs while the boys worked hard to unload the car and wash it.

I laughed so hard when I saw the mustache shirt. Made me so proud! And the dinosaur shirt. Cute pictures. I am sad I missed you guys by a couple weeks. Love your belly. Also I love how the boys are smiling so much for the camera! Keep updating!
