Here is a picture of my new family. Its all of us at the Pearson's the day we left for North Carolina. Below are some pictures of big red for those who have not seen it. It is Charlie's new truck and man its sooo big.

Quick trip to SLO

Things have been a little busy the last couple of weeks. Jesse came home for a short 2 days and we did our taxes. And then he was gone again but only for 2 weeks. Then I started work and had a really long orientation. I am really liking my job so far which is great since I work 40hrs a day. Maybe I'll take some pictures tomorrow at work.Oh and I LOVE SPRING! I love all the pretty flowers and its just starting to get warm here in NC. But the temple had some beautiful flowers.

I took a quick and I mean quick trip to California to go to Isabelle and Abe's wedding. They were married in the L.A. Temple and then we all drove up to SLO. Oh and if anyone gets stuck in LAX and needs to get to the temple I found out that it cost $1.25 to get from LAX to the temple. So great and cheap!

Sunday I got to spend time with Hailey and we took a trip to Montana de Oro which was fun but soooo windy. (if you couldn't tell by the picture) besides the wind it was very clear and pretty.

Monday Kerry, Patrick, Rosanne, Mike and I drove up the coast to hike at Salmon Creek (one of my favorite places) and then we went to see the elephant seals. Thanks Kerry for the picture.

Projects

If anyone knows me they know I have had a bit of time on my hands seeing how Jesse is gone and I am waiting to start work. I have been able to keep myself busy by doing random projects. I've made a few baby blankets, started working in the yard now that its warm, and made some holiday decorations for my house since I don't have any. Its been fun and I get to be creative. I saw this idea in a scrapbooking store in Utah and figured I could do the same so below are 2 that I have made. Thanks to Jesse it was easy to get wood to make them and i even learned how to use the saw and the electric sander.

I got a job!

I got a job. After 2 interviews I got a call offering me a job. Its only exciting that I will now have something to do each day. You may be wondering what I'm going to do but I bet all of you who know me can guess......yes life guarding and teaching swim lessons. I know its not that exciting but seeing how it is really hard to find a job around here and I know a few people that say they have been looking for months and still haven't found one I'm feeling pretty lucky. I thought I would share my happy news because about a half hour before I got the news I was able to lock my keys in the truck then have to go home for the spare key, couldn't remember the password, and ended up setting off the ridiculously loud alarm. Anyways that's a whole other story that I'm not going to go into. I do know that security systems work really good and the cops were here pretty fast. Well time for chores..yuck.

I miss this guy

I was playing around on photoshop the other day. I finally have some time to edit pictures from the last 2 years of my life..haha like that will ever happen. But I am having fun with photoshop for now. I miss Noah and him telling me how much he doesn't like me. No we had fun for real even if he will always say he doesn't like me.....Sarah I don't blame you =)

Funny sign

So this weekend I went with my friend Michelle to Morehead City. She was running a half marathon and I went to cheer her on. After the race we went out to eat and and I had to use the bathroom. As I was on the pot I looked up and saw this. It made me laugh because while in Utah we ate lots of asparagus and one day had a conversation on why it made your pee smell funny. Well yesterday i found our answer. What a random thing to post in your resturaunt bathroom.
