Hong Kong Day 4- Big Buddha & Disneyland

Well we set off on an adventure on our own! We took the metro to Lantau Island then we got a bus and headed up to Big Buddha. We were going to take the gondola but it was closed. So we took a nice long bus ride which was great Jack and Seth fell asleep.
Bus ride

Here is the Big Buddha. It's the second largest in the world.
We didn't hike up to the top. I figured that would probably kill off the kids walking up all those stairs.
We also checked out the monetary and little village
Back on the metro with some tired kids!
The Disneyland Metro! The boys thought it was so cool.
Even the hand holds were Mickey.
We made it. The boys are so excited
It is a mini California Disneyland
And so empty it was awesome.
Toy story land
Kade wasn't old enough to go by himself so I asked the couple in front of us to sit with him!  The guy totally held onto him.
On the slinky ride
Then we saw the the Mickey/Donald show. It was a 3d show
Dumbo ride. We just started to tell the workers that Kade was 7 so he could ride by himself. He was just as tall as all the Asian 7 year olds so we were good. Seth then started asking when he could be 5.
I love how the boys love the rides
We waited forever to get on the train that goes around the park. The slowest train ever even the boys said it was slow!
Ok Jack's face is just too funny even though it's blurry
It was so hot they used their money to buy fans.
Fun on the carousel
We love the tea cups!
I love how this picture looks like Kade is eating something.

Jack in awe
It's a Small world! They boys loved it and it was Seth's favorite ride we ride it twice

Look at that smile

Two tired boys. We got some Carmel popcorn
Hahaha I love this kid
Good number 1
Oh my very tired child.
Wahoo family picture in front of the castle
This was outside Thunder Gulch which was Kade's favorite ride.

Silliness in front of small world

I loved how the tea cups looked at night. So magical. Maybe I need some paper lanterns in my house.
Waiting for the light parade to start
We had a long day but it was great we just took our time and took it all in. It was fun to just go at our own pace and give the kids a day. They loved Disneyland and pretty much that was the highlight of their trip. I'm so thankful for all the people who helped us. Especially the Australlians that let Kade go on Thunder Gulch with them. Even though we were all exhausted it was a great day.

Looks like you had a fun trip too. Jacks cheeks are totally cute. Kades face in the wanted poster was priceless. I miss you and your family a ton.
