Chambers Bay Park

For Christmas Jesse bought me a kite which was kind of random but we were able to use it Saturday when the Pearson's were here.  We grabbed pizza for dinner and headed to the park to enjoy the sunshine.  We also got to enjoy the wind!
Megan flying the kite.  She totally showed Jesse up.

We tried to stay out of the wind so we hid out by the cement wall

Our awesome Little Cesear pizzas.

Kade kept bringing Pap Charlie pizza so he could share.  I"m pretty sure he ate at least 5 pieces and no I'm no exagerating.

Kerry and Kade took a walk to the water.  Wish I would have gone Kerry said it wasn't as windy by the water.

The park is by the Johnson's house so we convinced them to join us.  The kids had a blast climbing around.

Kade got to help Jesse fly the kite.

Saturday morning we went to the church for our ward breakfast and easter egg hunt.  Kade totally got into it and picked up a good amount of eggs.

Tumwater Falls

Kerry wanted to go to a waterfall while she was here.  I had heard about Tumwater Falls before so we thought we'd go check it out.  Wasn't the most amazing but it was still really neat and there was a lot of water.  The salmon runs were also really neat to look at.  I've made it a goal to visit more parks around our home this summer.  I like having visitors it makes me get out more.  Thanks Kerry!
A view of the falls.  We are standing on part of the salmon runs.

I think this is my favorite picture from the day.

Checking out the little waterfall that ran into the river.

Papa Charlie hanging out with Seth. Oh and this is my new stroller/ bike trailer.  I've gotten some good use out of it the last week.  Its big and takes up the whole trunk but I'm loving it.  Its a double so when Kade gets tired he gets thrown in.

There was so much water it was impressive

I can't wait to go back when everything is green.  Melanie the bridges made me think of you.

Kade walking back with Papa Charlie or if you are Kade its Papa Harley.  He loves his Papa

A day in Seattle

One day while the Pearson's were here we headed up to Seattle and did the City Pass.  Its the best way to see the city and not have to pay a ridiculous amount of money.  We chose to go to the aquarium, do the harbor cruise, and go up the space needle all in one day.  It made for a long day but it was so much fun.
Aunt Kerry and Kade in front of the huge aquarium

Kade getting a ride from Papa Charle he really wanted to touch the water in the wave tank.

Thanks Kerry for taking so many pictures.  I spent most of my time at the aquarium feeding Seth.

Playing in the tide pools

Thanks Charlie for giving Kade so many rides.

Kade sure does love his Papa

Such a cool fish

Seth does exist on our adventures he just spends most the time in the stroller or carrier. He is such a good sport.

We went on the Harbor Cruise which was really neat.  It was cold so we sat inside but ventured out a lot especially once it stopped sprinkeling.

A view from the boat.

City of Seattle

It was such a nice day.

I attempted to get a picture of me with my boys and well this is what we got.  Not cool when Kade flops over.  Poor Seth looks like he is about to fall out of my arms...oh he was.  Good thing Kerry took the picture fast and I could put Kade down.

We rode the monorail to go up in the Space Needle

I love this picture of Kade and love love his hat.  Thanks Megs

Did a quick walk through Pikes Market

I tried to get Megan and Kerry to go under the waterfall because there was a sidewalk  through it.  They said it was too wet and too cold.

The trees are painted blue

Kerry helping Kade look down.  Thanks Pearson's for the great day in Seattle.  We all had a good time but were all so tired.

Sequalitchew Creek

The afternoon the Pearson's arrived we headed down to Dupont to go on a little hike.  I figured it would be nice for them to stretch out since they had been in the car a lot the last 2 days.  It was a little cold but not to bad and not rainiing.

I have a little boy who loves his Papa

Megan trying not to freeze

Not sure who was more annoyed that I was taking a picture.  Isn't Kade's hat cut?  Megan made it for him.

More rock throwing

The trail.  I think Kerry was taking a picture of the cool tree

Kade got to jump in the puddle on our walk back.  He loved it!  More weekend adventures to come
